Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- warm water - 2 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 4 c
- melted butter - 1 item
How to make hot rolls:
Dissolve sugar, butter and salt in boiling water. Let cool until lukewarm, then add yeast which has been dissolved in 2 tablespoons warm water. Add eggs, beaten well, then add flour. Mix well. Cover with wax paper and set in refrigerator overnight.Next Morning: Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Roll 1/2-inch thick. Brush with melted butter; roll in long roll. Cut in 1-inch slices. Put in muffin tins until ready to bake. Set in warm place. Bake at 375° until brown.
