Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 lb
- water - 1/2 c
- white vinegar - 3 c
- hot peppers, chopped fine - 12 item
- large bell peppers, seeded and cut in strips - 3 item
How to make hot pepper jelly:
Put first 3 ingredients in blender. When completely liquified, take out and add sugar and vinegar. Cook at a hard boil for 5 minutes. Skim the top. Add green or red food coloring and 2 bottles of Certo. Put into hot jars and store.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Vegetables, Jellies.
