Hot pepper jelly
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- green food coloring - 1 item
- apple cider vinegar
- hot green peppers, chopped or blended - 1/4 c
- green bell pepper, chopped or blended - 3/4 c
- bottle or 2 envelopes liquid fruit pectin - 1 item
How to make hot pepper jelly:
Mix the first 4 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil; boil hard for 1 minute. Remove from heat; add liquid fruit pectin. Add a few drops green food coloring. Put in small jars as it has a tendency to sugar when left open or unsealed for a long time. Serve with crackers and cream cheese.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Vegetables, Jellies.
