Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 c
- apple cider - 4 qt
- whole cloves - 9 item
- whole allspice - 9 item
- lemons, thinly sliced - 2 item
- cinnamon sticks, broken into 1-inch pieces - 4 item
How to make hot mulled cider:
Tie cloves, allspice and cinnamon in a cheesecloth bag. Place in 5-quart electric Dutch oven or large percolator with cider and sugar. Simmer 5 minutes. Set control to warm to keep cider hot. Before serving, remove spice bag and float lemon slices.Recipe categories: Time to make, < 30 mins, Drinks.
