Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 4 oz
- whole cloves
- whole allspice - 1 tsp
- cider - 2 qt
- sticks cinnamon - 2 item
- orange slices - 6 item
How to make hot mulled cider:
Put all ingredients in pot. If desired, tie whole spices in cheesecloth or put in tea strainer. Cover and set on high for 1 hour, then turn to low for 2 to 8 hours. Serve from pot with ladle.Hot Spiced Wine: Use recipe, substituting 2/5 sweet sherry claret or port wine for cider.
