Hot german potato salad

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 Tbsp
• salt
• flour - 2 Tbsp
• water - 1/2 c
• vinegar - 1/2 c
• small onion, chopped - 1 item
• stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
• bacon drippings - 1/2 c
• slices crisp bacon - 6 item
• medium potatoes, cooked and sliced - 8 item

How to make hot german potato salad:

To bacon drippings, add flour, sugar and salt. Cook until bubbly. Stir in vinegar and water. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick.

Layer one-third of the potatoes, onion, celery, bacon and sauce. Repeat for 2 more layers. Bake 30 minutes at 350° and serve warm. Serves 6.
