sugar - 3 Tbsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 1 Tbsp
water - 1/2 c
cider vinegar - 1/3 c
pepper - 1/4 tsp
chopped onion - 1/2 c
chopped celery - 1/2 c
celery seed - 1/2 tsp
bacon - 1/2 lb
bacon drippings - 1/4 c
medium potatoes, cooked and cubed - 5 item

How to make hot german potato salad:

Cook bacon until crisp, drain and crumble. Saute celery and onion in bacon drippings until tender. Combine sugar, flour and seasonings; stir into drippings. Add water and vinegar, stirring until smooth. Bring to boil. Add potatoes and bacon; mix. Makes 6 servings.
