Hot fudge sundae cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- hot tap water
How to make hot fudge sundae cake:
Mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt in a 9-inch ungreased square pan. Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with a fork until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Pour hot water over batter. Do not stir. Bake 40 minutes in 350° oven. While warm, spoon into dessert dishes and top with ice cream.
