  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • self-rising flour - 1 c
  • cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
  • brown sugar packed - 1 c
  • ice cream - 1 item
  • hottest tap water

How to make hot fudge sundae cake:

In ungreased square pan, mix together flour, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth. Spread evenly in pan. Sprinkle 1/4 cup cocoa and brown sugar over batter. (Do not mix!) Pour hot water over batter. Bake 40 minutes at 350°. Let stand 15 minutes. Spoon cake in bowl. Top with ice cream, sauce and nuts.
