Hot fudge sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sq - 4 oz
- can evaporated milk - 13 oz
How to make hot fudge sauce:
Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler. Cook over hot (not boiling) water until melted. Gradually stir in sugar, 1/4 cup at a time, stirring well after each addition. Mixture will be very thick and dry. Add salt and milk slowly, stirring constantly. Serve hot. Yields 4 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
