Hot fudge pudding cake
Ingredients/Components
- tsp salt - 1/4 item
- c milk - 1/2 item
- c brown sugar - 1/2 item
- tsp baking powder - 2 item
- c butter - 1/3 item
- c all purpose flour - 1 item
- 1/4 c sugar, divided - 1 item
- c cocoa, divided - 1/2 item
- 1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring - 1 item
- 1/2 c hot water - 1 item
How to make hot fudge pudding cake:
Preheat oven. Combine 3/4 c sugar, flour, 1/4 c cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add milk, butter and vanilla; mix well. Pour into a 9 in. sq. pan. Combine remaining sugar, remaining cocoa, and brown sugar. Sprinkle over batter. Carefully pour hot water over top of sugar mixture. Do Not Stir!! Bake 35-40 min.; till almost set. Remove from oven and let set for 15 min. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. This recipe can be doubled. 6-8 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Puddings and mousses.
