  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • Wesson oil - 1/2 c
  • Fudge Icing:1 stick oleo
  • milk 6 Tbsp - 1/3 c

How to make hot fudge cake:

Fudge Icing:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa1/3 c. milk (6 Tbsp.)1 lb. powdered sugar1 c. chopped pecans1 tsp. vanilla Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl. Melt oleo. Add oil, water and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Pour oleo mixture over flour mixture. Mix well. Add and mix well buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Bake for 20 minutes at 400° in a long, greased and floured sheet pan. Cover with Fudge Icing while still hot.

Fudge Icing: Melt oleo. Add cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, pecans and vanilla. Spread over cake while both are still hot.
