Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- Fudge Icing:1 stick oleo
- milk 6 Tbsp - 1/3 c
How to make hot fudge cake:
Fudge Icing:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa1/3 c. milk (6 Tbsp.)1 lb. powdered sugar1 c. chopped pecans1 tsp. vanilla Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl. Melt oleo. Add oil, water and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Pour oleo mixture over flour mixture. Mix well. Add and mix well buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Bake for 20 minutes at 400° in a long, greased and floured sheet pan. Cover with Fudge Icing while still hot.Fudge Icing: Melt oleo. Add cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, pecans and vanilla. Spread over cake while both are still hot.
