Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- stick oleomargarine - 1 item
- Icing:1 stick oleomargarine
How to make hot fudge cake:
Icing:1 stick oleomargarine6 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla4 Tbsp. cocoa1 box confectioners sugar Preheat oven to 400°. In saucepan, melt oleo, shortening, cocoa and water. Sift flour, sugar, soda and salt, then add eggs; mix well. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Bake in an oblong pan for 30 minutes.For icing, melt ingredients in a saucepan. Mix well. Keep warm and pour mixture over hot cake.
