Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
- cooking sherry - 1/2 c
- can pears - 1 oz
- jar Maraschino cherries - 1/2 item
- can pineapple slices or chunks - 1 1/2
- cans peaches halves or slices - 1 oz
How to make hot fruit:
Drain all the fruit and save the juice, except the juice of the cherries. Arrange the fruit in a shallow casserole dish. Combine 1 3/4 cups of the fruit juice, cornstarch, butter, brown sugar and cooking sherry. Cook over medium-low heat until the mixtRecipe categories: Fruit, Weeknight, Side dish.
