  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
  • cooking sherry - 1/2 c
  • can pears - 1 oz
  • jar Maraschino cherries - 1/2 item
  • can pineapple slices or chunks - 1 1/2
  • cans peaches halves or slices - 1 oz

How to make hot fruit:

Drain all the fruit and save the juice, except the juice of the cherries. Arrange the fruit in a shallow casserole dish. Combine 1 3/4 cups of the fruit juice, cornstarch, butter, brown sugar and cooking sherry. Cook over medium-low heat until the mixt
