Ingredients/Components

  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ketchup - 1 c
  • hot dogs - 2 lb
  • green peppers, sliced - 2 item
  • large onions, sliced - 3 item
  • egg noodles - 2 lb
  • large can pork and beans or baked beans - 1 item

How to make hot dog stew:

Slice and brown hot dogs. Add sliced onions and green peppers. Cook until tender; then add ketchup and mix. Cook about 10 minutes over a medium heat. Add the tomato sauce and beans. Cook about 1/2 hour.

While stew is cooking, prepare noodles according to package instructions. Serve stew over bed of buttered noodles.
