Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 item
- water - 1 item
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- ketchup - 1/4 c
- hamburger - 1/2 lb
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
How to make hot dog sauce:
Brown meat. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover with water. Add ketchup and spices. Simmer 15 minutes. Thicken with cornstarch (directions on box for thickening). Serve on hot dogs with chopped onions and mustard.Note: Best if made a day early. Freezes well.
