Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- sliced almonds - 1/2 c
- cooked chicken - 2 c
- celery, diced - 3/4 c
- cream of chicken soup
- onion, minced - 2 tsp
- mayo - 2/3 c
- lemon, juiced - 1/2 item
- hard-boiled eggs, chopped optional - 3 item
- cornflakes, chips or bread crumbs for topping - 1 item
How to make hot chicken salad:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix ingredients. Spoon onto 8 x 12-inch baking dish. Top with crumbled chips, cornflakes or bread crumbs. Bake for 20 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Note: One half cup cheese can be substituted for crumbs.
