Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- hard-cooked eggs, chopped - 3 item
- diced celery - 2 c
- small can Chinese noodles - 1 item
- toasted almonds, slivered - 1/2 c
- boned chicken, diced - 2 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix all ingredients, except noodles. Place in casserole. Bake at 450° (preheat oven) for 7 1/2 minutes, then spread noodles over top of casserole and bake 7 1/2 minutes longer. Do not cook longer than 15 minutes.This recipe was given to me by my Aunt Texie, a terrific cook!
