Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- almonds - 1/2 c
- hard-boiled eggs, chopped - 3 item
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 c
- chopped green peppers - 1/2 c
- corn flakes, crushed - 1 c
- can undiluted cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- small jar pimentos, drained and chopped - 1 item
- cooked chicken, sliced - 3 c
- Transfer to large baking dish 2 x 9 x 13-inch
How to make hot chicken salad:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Transfer to large baking dish (2 x 9 x 13-inch). Top with Topping.Topping:1 stick butter, melted1 c. corn flakes, crushed1/2 c. almonds Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
