Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- toasted almonds
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- boiled eggs, sliced - 4 item
- chicken, chopped - 4 c
- pimiento, chopped - 2 oz
- corn flakes, crushed and rolled in 1/2 stick oleo, melted - 2 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Combine chicken, celery, onion and pimento in a mixing bowl. Mix mayonnaise and chicken soup and stir into chicken-vegetable mixture. Put into oblong casserole dish. Top with egg slices, cheese, corn flakes and almonds. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
