Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- cream of chicken soup - 1 c
- cooked rice - 1 c
- crushed potato chips - 1 c
- hard boiled eggs - 3 item
- cooked chicken, cut in small pieces - 2 c
- can sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped - 1 item
- Topping:1/4 stick butter
- may use buttered bread crumbs - 1 item
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix all ingredients and spread into a casserole dish.Topping:1/4 stick butter1 c. crushed potato chips (may use buttered bread crumbs) Sprinkle crushed potato chips over top. Melt butter and pour over chips. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
