  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 lb
  • butter - 1 lb
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • eggs, well beaten - 3 item
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • ground cloves - 1 tsp

How to make hot buttered rum:

Melt butter. Add spices. Pour over sugar and mix. When cool, add eggs. Beat one hour. Put one heaping teaspoon of mixture in cup. Add a jigger of rum and fill cup with boiling water. Freezes well.
