Hot buttered rum
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 lb
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- butter butter works better than margarine - 1/3 lb
How to make hot buttered rum:
Mix butter and sugar together until creamy. Add spices and blend thoroughly. Mixture must be kept in the refrigerator.To serve, mix 1 heaping teaspoonful of batter with 1/2 ounce rum. Pour boiling water over mixture and stir until dissolved. Garnish if desired with cinnamon stick.
