Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 3 tsp
- water
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 4 to
- margarine - 1/4 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- cottage cheese - 1 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- wheat flour - 2 c
How to make honey wheat bread:
Mix first 4 ingredients together and heat until very warm. Combine this warm liquid gradually with 2 cups flour and remaining ingredients. Beat 2 minutes. Stir in remaining flour to make enough dough. Knead until smooth and elastic. Put in greased bowl and let rise until doubled. Punch down and divide into 2 loaves or 24 rolls. Let rise again until doubled. Bake at 350° until golden brown and sounds hollow to tap. Brush the warm loaves with honey and butter mixture.Recipe categories: Breads, Grains, Yeast breads.
