- flour - 6 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- boiling water
- molasses - 1/2 c
- rolled oats - 2 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make honey oatmeal bread:
Combine oats, boiling water, butter, salt, molasses and honey. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine oat mixture and yeast. Add flour slowly. Mix. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise until double in size. Put into 2 well-greased loaf pans. Let rise to top. Bake at 350° for approximately 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Low cholesterol, Low fat.
