Honey glazed carrots
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- honey - 2 Tbsp
- orange rind, grated - 1 tsp
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- sliced carrots - 4 c
How to make honey glazed carrots:
Cook carrots in water rapidly (covered) until just tender (8 to 10 minutes). Keep carrots warm while combining cornstarch and orange juice in small pan. Blend until smooth. Add butter and honey. Stir over medium heat until thick and clear. Add orange rind. Drain carrots. Add glaze and mix well.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Side dish.
