Honey-glazed carrots
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- honey - 3 Tbsp
- carrots, scraped and thinly sliced - 2 lb
- spiced mustard this is optional - 2 Tbsp
How to make honey-glazed carrots:
Combine carrots and water in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and return to pan. Add honey and remaining ingredients; cook over low heat, stirring gently, until butter and sugar melts. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Lemon, Citrus.
