Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- honey - 1 c
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- plus 1/4 c - 1/3 c
- black coffee - 1 c
How to make honey cake:
Heat oven to 350°. Mix together honey, brown sugar, oil and eggs in large bowl. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Stir in coffee and 1/3 cup raisins. If all the raisins are mixed at one time, then tend to go to the bottom. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup raisins on top of cake before it goes into oven. Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
