Homemade vanilla ice cream
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 2 qt
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- whipping cream - 1 pt
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
How to make homemade vanilla ice cream:
In a double boiler, mix sugar, flour and salt. Add the 6 beaten eggs and milk. Cook until thickened. This will take 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from heat. Add whipping cream, evaporated milk and vanilla. Freeze in ice cream freezer.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, Free of....
