Homemade rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- stick butter - 1/3 item
- plain flour
- hot water - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
- lukewarm not hot water - 1/4 c
How to make homemade rolls:
In small bowl mix sugar, salt, 1/3 stick butter and water. Stir to dissolve sugar. In large bowl sprinkle yeast in lukewarm water; stir to dissolve. Add to this egg and 1 cup of flour. Beat on medium speed until smooth. Add remaining flour slowly to make a soft dough. Cover and let stand 1 hour. Roll out the rolls, put in pan and pour melted butter over. Let rise for 2 hours.
