Homemade ice cream
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- water - 1 item
- heavy cream - 4 c
- beaten eggs - 6 item
- scalded milk - 5 c
- rock salt - 1 item
- bag ice - 1 item
How to make homemade ice cream:
Combine sugar, flour and salt in large saucepan. Slowly stir in hot milk. Cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Take beaten eggs; add a little amount of hot milk mixture to them. Then add egg mixture to milk mixture. Heat 1 minute longer. Chill for 2 hours. Then add heavy cream and vanilla. Stir well. Pour into ice cream maker and turn on. Use ice, rock salt and water as directed.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, Low sodium.
