Homemade hot rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- unsifted flour - 6 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- melted oleo - 1 Tbsp
- envelopes powdered yeast - 2 item
How to make homemade hot rolls:
Combine oleo, sugar, salt and water in saucepan to melt butter. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add this to first mixture. Beat eggs. Add to mixture. Stir in unsifted flour. Cover with wax paper. Refrigerate overnight. (Don't knead. Sprinkle only with flour.) Roll out on lightly floured board. Pinch off little balls. Roll together (fold in). Dip in melted margarine. Put 3 balls in greased muffin pan. Let rise 2 hours in warm place. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Grains, Pasta, rice and grains.
