Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 2/3 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 2 sq
- broken nuts - 1/2 c
How to make homemade brownies:
Heat oven to 350°. Generously grease a square pan (8 x 8 x 2-inch). Bake 30 to 35 minutes until top has dull crust. A slight imprint will remain when touched lightly with finger. Cool slightly; cut in 2-inch squares. Makes 16 brownies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Brownies.
