Holiday sweet potatoes



Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- miniature marshmallows - 1 pkg
- egg whites, stiffly beaten - 2 item
- large sweet potatoes - 3 item
- pecans or walnuts - 1/2 c
How to make holiday sweet potatoes:
Bake sweet potatoes at 400° until soft, about 1 hour. Let potatoes cool, remove skins and mash with butter. Add milk, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly. Fold in beaten egg whites, fold in nuts. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes in a greased casserole dish or pan.
