Ingredients/Components

  • egg whites - 6 item
  • sugar - 2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • Ritz crackers, coarsely crumbled - 60 item
  • Icing: large box Dream Whip 4 packets, unmixed
  • cream cheese
  • small cans crushed pineapple - 2 item

How to make holiday cake:

Icing: large box Dream Whip (4 packets), unmixed large pkg. cream cheese2 small cans crushed pineapple Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar slowly while continuing to beat. Stir in baking powder, Ritz crackers and nuts. Spread in butter-lined pan (9 x 13-inch). Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Cool and ice.

Icing: Mix cream cheese with unmixed Dream Whip. Add crushed pineapple drained. Stir. Spread on cake. Keep refrigerated until serving.
