- shortening - 1/4 c
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- sifted all-purpose flour
- baking powder - 3/4 tsp
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- milk
How to make hershey's disappearing cake:
Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans or 1 (13 x 9-inch) cake pan. Cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Blend in eggs. Combine cocoa, flour, baking powder, soda and salt in bowl; add alternately with milk to batter. Blend well. Pour into pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
