Ingredients/Components
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2 tsp
- plus 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- slices Italian or French bread - 2 1/2
- each: chopped fresh basil and parsley - 1 Tbsp
How to make herbed toast:
Preheat broiler. In small mixing bowl, combine margarine, basil and parsley; mix thoroughly. Onto each slice of bread, spread half of the margarine mixture; sprinkle half of the cheese on each slice of bread. On nonstick baking sheet, arrange bread slices, herb-side up, and broil until cheese is golden, about 1 minute.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Appetizers, Finger food.
