Ingredients/Components
- Cornish hens, split lengthwise - 4 item
- salad oil - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- pepper - 1 tsp
- poultry seasoning - 1 tsp
- green pepper rings - 8 item
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- chopped celery or powder - 1 Tbsp
- slices onion - 8 item
How to make herbed cornish hens:
Rub hens with oil. Combine oil, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and cayenne; stir well. Coat hens with seasoning mixture and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours. Place hens in 2 (13 x 9-inch) baking pans. Sprinkle hens with lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, parRecipe categories: Poultry, Meat, Roast.
