Herb stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- dried basil - 1/2 tsp
- ground pepper - 1/8 tsp
- brandy - 2 Tbsp
- chopped mushrooms - 3/4 lb
- large mushrooms, stems removed and sliced into rounds reserve mushroom caps - 8 item
How to make herb stuffed mushrooms:
Process 3/4 pound mushrooms, salt, pepper, basil, parsley and onions in a food processor or blend until thick and smooth. Layer 1/2 cup of the mushroom mixture in bottom of a baking dish.Mix sliced mushroom stems, brandy and butter. Fill reserved mushroom caps with mixture. Place filled caps in baking dish. Spoon remaining mushroom mixture around mushrooms. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes. Garnish with parsley. Makes 4 servings.
