Ingredients/Components

  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • vinegar - 1 c
  • bunch parsley - 1 item
  • bunch thyme - 1 item
  • sprig celery - 1 item
  • bunches scallions, remove tips and bottoms - 4 item
  • medium or 2 large onions, peeled - 3 item
  • large head garlic, peeled - 1 item
  • inch fresh ginger, peeled - 1 item

How to make herb marinade:

Wash herbs. Peel scallions, onions and garlic. Put in blender with vinegar; add salt. Store in clean bottles. Refrigerate.

Use to marinate meats, fish, poultry, etc. Add to sauces, beans, vegetables and soups.
