  • confectioners sugar - 1 c
  • Cool Whip - 8 oz
  • can cherry pie filling - 1 oz
  • toasted chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • angel food cake cubes - 5 c

How to make heavenly cherry angel food trifle:

Place cake cubes in large bowl. In medium bowl, combine sugar and cream cheese; beat until blended. Reserve 2 tablespoons Cool Whip; fold rest into cheese mixture, then stir with pecans into cake cubes. Mix well. Spoon cake mixture into pretty glass bowl. Spread pie filling evenly over top. Cover; refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Garnish with reserved topping.
