Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • mayonnaise - 2/3 c
  • chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • elbow macaroni - 1 pkg
  • can tuna, drained - 1 item
  • hard-cooked eggs, wedged - 8 item

How to make hearty macaroni salad:

Cook macaroni according to directions. Drain and cool thoroughly. Reserve 1 wedged egg. Cut remaining eggs in half horizontally. Combine egg, tuna, celery, onion, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir in macaroni. Chill thoroughly before serving. Garnish with remaining egg wedges. Makes 6 to 8 main dish servings.
