Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- flaked coconut - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- powdered sugar
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- white sugar - 2 c
- can crushed pineapple juice and all - 1 oz
How to make hawaiian wedding cake:
Topping:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla1 stick butter1 1/2 c. powdered sugar Sift dry ingredients together. Blend in all the rest of the ingredients. Stir (do not beat with mixer!!). Put in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 40 minutes at 350° or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool.Topping: Soften cream cheese. Blend in butter and vanilla in mixer. Fold in powdered sugar. Spread on cake and sprinkle with coconut and chopped nuts.
