Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- milk
- sour cream - 8 oz
- oil - 1/2 c
- box instant vanilla pudding - 3 oz
- Mix all ingredients together
- box orange cake mix - 1 item
- box orange Jell-O - 3 oz
- frozen coconut - 12 oz
- Beat 3 minutes on medium speed
- mixture from filling - 1 c
How to make hawaiian sunset cake:
Mix all ingredients together. Beat 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour into 3 (9-inch) greased and floured pans. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool layers before adding filling and topping.Filling:15 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained well12 oz. frozen coconut8 oz. sour cream1 c. sugar Remove as much liquid as possible from pineapple. Mix all ingredients together. Take out 1 cup of this mixture. Spread filling between layers.Top of Cake:1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip1 c. mixture from filling Mix together and spread on sides and top of cake.
