Hawaiian salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cream cheese - 6 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- flour - 1/4 c
- Cool Whip - 1 item
- bananas - 4 item
- marshmallows - 2 c
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- jello
- dry Tang - 2 Tbsp
- drained pineapple, crushed - 2 c
How to make hawaiian salad:
Prepare jello. When thickened fold in crushed pineapple, bananas and marshmallows. Place in large cake pan and let set. Mix together flour and sugar in saucepan; add beaten eggs and pineapple juice and Tang. Cook until thick. Remove from heat and add cream cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. When cooled, place on jello. Chill overnight. Spread with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Apple, Pineapple.
