Hawaiian pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- ketchup - 1/4 c
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- medium green pepper - 1 item
- pork chops - 1 item
- can pineapple chunks and juice - 1 oz
How to make hawaiian pork chops:
Brown chops in 1 tablespoon oil. Drain off excess fat. Combine pineapple, juice, ketchup, onion and seasonings. Simmer. Turn and baste frequently. Stir in green pepper, cut in chunks. Cover; simmer until tender. Thicken with cornstarch. Makes 4 servings. Yields 1 1/2 cups sauce. Serve with rice or noodles.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Tropical fruits, Pork.
