Ingredients/Components
- chicken drumettes - 5 lb
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- cups cornstarch - 2 item
- cup oil - 1/2 item
- garlic salt - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- Sauce:1/2 cup chicken broth
- cup sugar - 1 item
- cup cider vinegar - 1 item
- ketchup - 6 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- salt optional - 1 tsp
How to make hawaiian chicken:
Sauce:1/2 cup chicken broth1 cup sugar1 cup cider vinegar6 Tbsp. ketchup2 Tbsp. soy sauce1 tsp. salt (optional) Dip chicken in egg; dredge in cornstarch. Fry in oil. Place in a baking dish. Season with garlic salt, pepper and salt. Combine ingredients for sauce and pour over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
