  • sour cream - 1 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • melted butter - 1/4 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • bag hash browns - 2 lb

How to make hash browns au gratin:

Place hash browns in 9 x 13-inch pan. Heat onion, butter, soup and sour cream. Spread over potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese. Dot with 1/4 cup melted butter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
