Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • melted margarine - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onions - 3/4 c
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • frozen hash browns, thawed - 2 lb
  • can undiluted cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • cornflakes, crushed and mixed with 1/4 c - 2 c

How to make hash brown potato casserole:

Combine all ingredients except potatoes and cornflakes. Mix potatoes throughout all combined ingredients. Put in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish and sprinkle cornflakes over top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 10 to 12 people.
