Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- stick margarine - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- large carton sour cream - 1 item
- salt or to taste - 1 tsp
- pepper or to taste - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
How to make hash brown potato casserole:
Thaw potatoes. Add to potatoes: salt, pepper, onion, cheese. Melt margarine and mix well with can of soup and sour cream. Pour margarine, soup, sour cream mixture over potato mixture and fold in until mixed. Pour into greased 9 x 13 casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, covered for the first 25 minutes, uncovered for the last 35 minutes.
